“Discovering Your True Identity in Christ”
Led by Jennifer Brommett of True Identity Ministries
We are bombarded daily by the media with images and messages of what women should look like, how they should act, and who they should strive to be. The problem is that “identity” is a worldly, computer-altered, “Hollywoodized” unreal image. The cry of women’s hearts is to know Who and Whose they really are … their TRUE identity.
Do You Wonder:
- How has God shaped my personality?
- How do I recognize the lies that have brought me to a mistaken identity?
- How does the truth of who I am in Christ set me free to be all God created me to be?
- How do I walk in the True Identity of who I am in Christ?

An Invitation To Membership in UMW
To the woman...
Who
finds meaning in her church and is drawn into its fellowship,
-
Whose
life is packed full of activity and obligations,
-
Who
juggles jobs and family, and tries to be faithful to both,
-
Who
wants to combine classroom study with significant fellowship and
outreach opportunities,
-
Who
feels she has gifts which are wasted or undeveloped,
-
Who
wants to be accepted for who she is,
-
Who
needs a supportive community to affirm her own sense of purpose and
commitment to God
Most women in the United Methodist Women join because
another woman invited them to attend. We are inviting you to join
because we genuinely care and we want to share something good with you.
Joining this group of committed women is a unique
opportunity - no matter who you are at this moment - to move in harmony
with other women who have been responding to our Purpose: to know God
and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to
develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of
mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Contact UMW President,
Carolyn Edwards
if you would like more information about joining SUMW.
