Career Networking

We all know people in our community and congregation who are out of work. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; surely I will help you; surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Simpsonwood offers Christ-centered encouragement, contacts, and counsel.

The North Atlanta Crossroads "Crash" Course for Career Transitions .  As a member of the Crossroads Career Network, Simpsonwood United Methodist is participating in a unique program that is jointly sponsored by 9 interdenominational churches in North and Northwest Atlanta.  The Crossroads “6-Step Small Group Series” is a course offered by many Crossroads member churches that is based on the Crossroads Career Network 2010 Workbook. This program is unique in that this course is 1) offered on a regular basis, 2) by a highly qualified team (career ministry leaders at the 9 participating churches), and 3) that it can be completed in a very short time period – under 2 weeks!

If you are recently unemployed, are considering a transition, or your job search just needs a jump-start, this program is highly recommended by our career ministry team.  Click HERE to visit this website and find out when the next program is being offered. Follow the link and register for the next scheduled course.  It may be offered at another Northside Atlanta area church, but that’s OK. You’re welcome to attend the class.  Let this program help you find the work that God has planned for you and get you back to work!  After completion of the “Crash” course, you should continue to participate in our career ministry programs to supplement what you learned in the “Crash” course.
