| Dr. Laurence
McCullough, Jr., is the Senior Pastor at
Simpsonwood. He and his wife Nancy have four
children: Laurence III, Mary, William, and John. Dr.
McCullough has served in the ministry since 1973.
Simpsonwood United Methodist Church is his fifth
appointment. He has also served at Underwood
Memorial UMC , Allen Memorial UMC (as chaplain of
Oxford College), Faith UMC - Cartersville, St. Mark
UMC - Atlanta He graduated from Yale University,
Candler School of Theology, and obtained his Ph.D.
from the University of Strasbourg in France. Nancy
is originally from Pittsburgh, and Laurence grew up
in Atlanta. The McCulloughs have been at Simpsonwood
since June of 1990. |

| Prior to coming to Simpsonwood, Susan has served churches in Buford, Demorest, and Duluth and most recently was the pastor-in-charge at Hopewell UMC in Gainesville, GA. Susan holds and undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii, an MBA from the University of West Florida, a Doctorate in Occupational Studies from the University of Georgia and her Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Before receiving her call to ministry full-time, Susan worked at several universities and colleges, including Piedmont College, Brenau University, the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia. |

Laurie Willing has been on staff at Simpsonwood for
11 years. She held the position of Director of
Children's Ministries for the first 4 years and is
currently the Director of Christian Education and
Youth Ministries. Laurie has been married to Keith
Willing for 23 years and has 2 children, Tamara and
Tyler. |

| Matt
Parker has been on staff at Simpsonwood since May of
2001. He currently serves the church as the
Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. Matt
grew up in Roswell, GA and attended Roswell UMC
where he received his call to ministry. Matt worked
at Roswell UMC for three summers while attending
LaGrange College where he received a BA in Human
Services/Social Work and met his wife Michele. Matt
and Michele have been married for 3 years and have a daughter, Kayla. |

| Bryan
Coats is the Children's Minister at Simpsonwood. He
is a graduate of LaGrange College (BSW) and Georgia
State Unitversity (MSW). Bryan joined the staff at
Simpsonwood in 2004. Bryan and his wife Amy are active members of the church. |

| Andrea
Heaton has worked with the preschool program since
it began in 1991. She has served as a teacher ,
assistant director and is currently the director.
Andrea has a Masters degree in Education. She and
her husband Eldon have one daughter, Melissa, who
works as a lawyer in New York City. |

| Richard began his tenure in February of 1999 as
Director of Music Ministries. Richard has served
churches in South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and
Georgia. He holds the Bachelor of Music degree from
Augusta College in Augusta, Georgia where he taught
public school for 4 years prior to attending
graduate school. In 1983 Richard completed the
Master of Church Music degree from Scarritt College
for Christian Workers in Nashville, TN. |

| Nancy
Lisenby has been the church accountant since 1999.
She has an accounting degree from the University of
Georgia. In addition to being an accountant she
enjoys play handbells, being a Prayer Warrior,
helping with VBS and helping wherever else she is
needed. She has been a member of Simpsonwood since
1989. |

| Linda
has been Church Administrator since 1988. She is in
charge of financial and business administration of
the church. Currently her responsibilities include
assisting with the coordination of the Family Life
Center construction project. Linda is also active in
the music program. Linda is married to Roberto; they
have 2 daughters, Maria and Amy, and 4 grandsons
ages 8 and under. |

| Jann
Roeder started working for SUMC in the fall of 1997.
She was hired to maintain the communications
documents including the Sunday bulletins, power
point, monthly newsletter and many other documents
and flyers. She receives the most joy by her
involvement in the weekly Prayer Warriors meetings
and keeping the Prayer Request List updated. Jann is
married to Bill Roeder and has two children, Will
and Briana. |

| Lori
Tucker has been on the church staff since 1994. She
has served in the Children's Ministry as director
and assistant. Her husband Mark has been the lead
pianist in the Contemporary Band since it began.
Mark, Lori and their 4 children are very active in
all church activities. The Tucker children are
Carrie, Andie, Aaron and Will. |

| Sheila
Hanington has been on the church staff since 2000.
Her responsibilties include assisting the church
administrator, updating the membership data base,
printing the newsletter and Sunday bulletins, and
advertising church events. Sheila is married to Mark
Hanington and they have two daughters, Jenna and
Dana. |

Ken
and Linda have worked for the church since 1996. Ken and Linda
are in charge of security for the church. They have
3 children (Amanda, Dylan, and Daniel) and
are very active in the church scout program.
