The staff from 1982 until 1988 was led by
Pastor George R. Freeman. |
The staff from 1988-1990 was led by
Dr. Robert W. Brown |

The staff from 1990 through the present is
led by Dr. Laurence McCullough. |
In 2008 Simpsonwood added Susan Taylor to the staff as
the Associate Pastor.

Simpsonwood United Methodist Church had its official beginning in a
simple trailer on Sunday, March 14, 1982. This same trailer is even now
being used to house the Youth Group and Boy Scout Troop at Simpsonwood
UMC. |
| A 15,000
square foot building was consecrated on Sunday, September 14, 1986 'for
the glory of God'. It houses the Sanctuary, the Fellowship Hall, the
kitchen and several classrooms. |

On
December 14, 1997 the Cam Schall Education Building was dedicated to the
memory of Cam Schall, the 5 year old son of members, Cary and Greg, who
passed away on May 19, 1997. This building houses the office staff,
several Sunday School Classrooms, and the SUMC Preschool. |
